Hi, I’m Oliver, a Senior Technical Artist specializing in shaders and procedural workflows. I’m currently working at Tencent Games in Shanghai, contributing to the development of an unanounced open-world title built with Unreal Engine 5.
I’m open to relocation for projects that align with my interests. As a British passport holder, I do not require visa sponsorship to work in the UK.
I hold a BA in Game Art Development from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia. I began my career as an Environment Artist and gradually shifted into a Technical Artist role at Vanimals, an indie game studio. There, I developed a broad skill set by bridging the gap between art and engineering.
At Tencent, my focus is on procedural content generation using Houdini and Unreal Engine PCG, as well as environment rendering, performance optimization, tool and pipeline development. I’m passionate about crafting efficient visual systems—whether stylized or physically based—that empower teams and enhance game quality.

- Developed procedural content using Houdini and UE PCG
